"TURNING SOFT MONEY INTO GOLD"

TAX SEMINAR WORKSHOP at FINISH EDITORIAL with MEDIA SERVICES & TAX CREDITS LLC

Thursday, June 4, 2009 |6-9PM
Finish Editorial, 162 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02116

The seminar, "Turning Soft Money Into Gold," will provide a look at tax credits and rebates in structuring a financing plan for the independent film project. Economic times are tough and financing a project is even more challenging.  Presented by Women in Film & Video New England and hosted by Media Services and Tax Credits, LLC, the seminar will take filmmakers through the nuts and bolts of securing soft money. Attendees will learn best practices in payroll processing and management, including how to meet the structuring, hiring, and filing requirements in the appropriate jurisdictions, to take full advantage of payroll credits.  The seminar will also address how to use tax credits and rebates to plan a budget, how to monetize a budget or use tax credits and rebates as collateral for financing, and the important paperwork and filing requirements needed for the state and banks

Please RSVP to wifvne.events@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
